This is a pre-professional training program in the basic nature of human communication and disorders of communication, from biological, psychological, physical and linguistic perspectives. Receive individualized attention and mentorship from faculty who are experts in a range of topics related to communication sciences and disorders. Make social connections and take on leadership roles with other Syracuse students in the National Student Speech Language Hearing Association. Pursue clinical learning opportunities under the supervision of faculty in the Gebbie Clinic, Syracuse’s on-campus speech and hearing clinic. Earn a special distinction in communication sciences and disorders by maintaining a strong GPA and completing a significant research project under the guidance of a faculty advisor.
