Blend business theory with technical expertise in the University of Central Missouri’s Computer Information Systems (CIS) BSBA program. UCM’s program is one of only 13 in the United States accredited by both the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and the Computing Accreditation Commission of ABET, under the Commission’s General Criteria & Program Criteria for Information Systems. Within our Computer Information Systems and Analytics programs at UCM, we provide extensive training in technical knowledge, IT and project management, legal issues, managerial communication and much more. Our expert, caring faculty will help you craft an engaging, exciting course of study. Our dual-accredited program focuses on hands-on, applied learning. Outside of the classroom, you’ll have many other opportunities for experiential learning and professional development: Competitions: UCM students in Computer Information Systems and Analytics participate in state and nationwide competitions in the field - and often place or win, including a recent first place award at a national C# Visual Studio.net competition. Hackathons: Team up with students of various disciplines, such as Cybersecurity, to participate in hackathon events held at UCM and other locations.
