The Certificate of Graduate Study (C.O.G.S.) in Creative Writing will provide students with the opportunity to develop their voice, literary vision, and individual style through workshop settings. Students will learn to engage in a process of composition that, when combined with the development of a critical vocabulary, allows them to give, receive, and use criticism in their revisions. The courses completed for this certificate may be able to be applied to the required coursework in Rowan's Master of Arts in Writing.
