Then use that data to improve the product or process at a lower cost than actually performing the process.The Chemical Engineering program offers an average of 35 graduate courses a year in the four research areas of Biomolecular Engineering, Nanotechnology, Energy and Environment, and Separations. The courses include, but are not limited to Air Pollution Engineering, Biotransformations and Biocatalysis, Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering Design and Green Engineering, Computational Chemistry and Molecular Modeling, Fuel Cells, Membrane Processes, Molecular Engineering and Functional Nanomaterials, Polymer Systems, Process Dynamics, Control and Optimization, Reaction Engineering and Catalysis for Energy and Fuels, Separation Processes, Tissue Engineering, and Transport Phenomena.
