Your studies combine core fundamental courses, transformative research, and special topics, including machine learning, privacy, mobile and vehicle security research, and artificial intelligence (AI), that bridge the gap between high-technology research and commercialization.

You’ll deepen and apply your knowledge by working alongside faculty researchers on projects sponsored by the National Science Foundation, the National Institutes of Health, and the Department of Defense, among others. As you translate interdisciplinary discoveries into marketable solutions, you’ll gain experience with the latest techniques in AI and machine learning.

Going deep into your own independent research project, you’ll complete your studies with a dissertation demonstrating your technical leadership at the highest levels.
