The Executive MS in Health Informatics degree is a 36-credit program based on the knowledge domains and standards established by the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM). NEC’s 36-credit online master’s in health informatics program is designed to provide students with the technical knowledge and management skills necessary to leverage data to increase operational efficiency in the healthcare industry. In this program, students will learn and apply the foundational concepts and methodologies of health informatics, from database design to compliance requirements to machine learning for decision-making purposes. Designed for working professionals, this hybrid program introduces students to new and emerging tools and technologies necessary for careers in the expanding healthcare and related IT fields. For international students enrolled in this program, Curricular Practical Training (CPT) will be available for eligible required internships or work placements.
