The graduate certificate in diversity studies, ethical leadership, and social justice prepares students to become culturally and ethically proficient in working in many sectors in a pluralistic society. It focuses on enhancing the values of human diversity, equity, and inclusive praxis in schools and communities. Given the multicultural nature of the United States, educators and professionals in different fields are expected to demonstrate high levels of cultural and ethical competencies to maximize learning outcomes by the end of the program.

To be eligible for regular admission for a licensure, graduate certificate, or master's degree program, you must meet one of the criteria below - earned a minimum of a 2.75 GPA from your undergraduate degree-granting institution. Earned at least 9 graduate credit hours with a minimum of a 3.0 GPA. Have a conferred master's or doctoral degree from an institution recognized by an USDE accrediting association.To be eligible for admission in the Ball State Graduate School, you must have a bachelors degree or higher from an institution recognized by an USDE accrediting association. Some doctoral and specialist degree programs (but not all) require a master's degree from an institution recognized by an USDE accrediting association.
