The Applied Technology in Education program can help educators deepen their technology knowledge and skills to facilitate educational opportunities using mobile devices, design online courses, understand cloud-based computing and applications, and develop multimedia instruction. Through courses such as Innovations in Teaching and Emerging Trends in Educational Technology, candidates learn the research-based practices that can enable:

• current educators to become technology integration leaders in their classroom, school building, or district
• individuals to become trainers, developers, or designers of instruction for nonprofit organizations, corporations, colleges or universities, or businesses seeking training and development leaders
