Applicants are eligible to apply as a graduate student if you have earned a degree equivalent to a U.S. bachelor's degree. You must meet the following requirements: Above average class standing at an internationally accredited college or university: the equivalent of at least a 3.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale is recommended. Provisional admission – Students who are admitted provisionally are required to provide their official transcripts, bachelors degree certificate and test scores as soon as possible after being admitted otherwise the admission decision could be rescinded. Admission to Graduate Standing-Conditionally Classified: Students must meet the CSU requirements for admission to a masters degree program. Please consult the Graduate Admissions section in this catalog for complete information. Graduate Standing – Classified: A student who meets the admission requirements and the following requirements may be granted classified graduate standing: Develop an approved study plan. Basic teaching credential or equivalent experience. Approved major (minimum of 24 units upper division or graduate). Cumulative grade-point average of 3.0, or 3.0 GPA in the last 60 units. Credit will be given for previous postbaccalaureate studies when possible. Otherwise well-qualified students may be admitted with limited subject or grade deficiencies, but these deficiencies must be removed.
