The Department of Economics offers a comprehensive Master of Science in Economics degree program. Students may choose one of the following tracks:General EconomicsEconometrics and Data AnalyticsFinancial EconomicsThe General Economics track provides maximum flexibility in course selection, while the other two concentrations allow students to focus in an area of specialty.The Master's in Economics program is designed for full-time students. Courses are offered in-person during daytime hours.One can complete the Master of Science in Economics degree in as little as 12 months with a full-time course load. Alternatively, one may spread the coursework over a longer period. We also offer a combined undergraduate/master’s program for qualified FAU undergraduate students, which allows students to count up to three graduate economics courses toward both the bachelor’s and master’s degree requirements.
