Combine your interest in technology and drive to lead the world of operational finance with an MS in Financial Operations and Technology from the Lubin School of Business. Whether you have an undergraduate or graduate background in general business and want to learn more about technology, or are an IT professional who wants to become a business leader, this fintech program will show you how to apply IT-based solutions to resolve finance challenges.You’ll learn the ideal skills for developing and marketing financial products and solutions that have a strong technological component, perfect for careers in securities trading, portfolio management, banking, payment services, credit services, and insurance. And you’ll do so at our strategic location in New York City’s financial district, gaining an insider’s view of the financial world from its very center. The program’s curriculum is thoughtfully designed for you to learn the basics of finance, investment management and corporate financial management, financial products, and the operation of financial markets. Through engaging coursework, students acquire skills that are key in understanding how new financial products are integrated into organizations–the marketing of these new IT-based products, the management of technology, and the impact of these new products in the valuation of firms.

  • A personal statement explaining to the Graduate Admission Committee why you would like to pursue the program of graduate study you have chosen. Additional information regarding your academic performance, as well as professional experience, may also be included in the supplement.
  • A resume or outline describing at least the past five years of your employment history and any significant community, professional, or college extracurricular activities.
  • Two letters of recommendation are optional, but strongly recommended. If you choose to submit letters of recommendation in support of your application, letters should be from academic or professional references who can knowledgeably comment on your ability to successfully complete graduate study. Please note that the Graduate Admission Committee reserves the right to require letters of recommendation on a case by case basis.
  • All Official Transcripts: Transcripts from every accredited college or university attended (not just the degree granting institution) must be sent either to Pace University, directly from the academic institution electronically or by mail, or forwarded by the applicant in sealed envelopes from the academic institution.
  • If you have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above for all of your undergraduate work, and you hold a bachelors degree from an accredited institution, you will be considered for admission to any MBA or MS program without submitting a GMAT or GRE score.
  • If you are an MBA applicant who already holds a business-related master's or doctoral degree, you may request a waiver of the GMAT or GRE.
