A four-year baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited U.S. institution or an equivalent degree from a non-U.S. institution. In addition, a minimum cumulative undergraduate grade point average of 2.7 on a 4.0 scale, or 3.0 in the last half of the undergraduate program, is required for full admission. Applicants who do not meet minimum admission requirements may be considered for conditional admission.
Applicants must also meet the following program requirements:
Hold a 2.75 undergraduate GPA or 3.0 in the last half of the undergraduate work or 3.3 GPA in 12 hours or more of work at the graduate level.
An undergraduate degree in mathematics or a closely related field from an accredited college or university.
A minimum of 30 semester hours in mathematics coursework is required. It must include: Calculus (two-semester sequences), Multivariable Calculus, Linear Algebra, Calculus-based Statistics, Introduction to Mathematical Proof, College Geometry, and Abstract Algebra.
