The Spanish, M.A. at Miami University offers you the opportunity to earn a Master’s Degree through advanced study of Spanish and Spanish American culture and Spanish linguistics.Faculty’s interests and areas of research comprise Spain, Spanish-America, and a Trans-Atlantic perspective from a variety of literary, cinematic, and cultural studies standpoints. Graduate students are therefore able to concentrate on specific areas of study according to their interests. A cumulative undergraduate GPA of at least 2.75 out of 4.00Applicants for graduate study must have earned at least a 4-year U.S. equivalent Baccalaureate degree. Typically, 16 years of schooling with four years of full-time study at the university level, culminating with the award of a first or second degree. Applicants must submit their academic record/transcript at the time of application. The Graduate School accepts unofficial transcripts at the time of application and does not require third-party credential evaluations.
