Apa yang akan saya pelajari?

The Bachelor of Arts degree (BA) in Studio Art offers an expansive educational experience and is designed to allow the greatest flexibility in customizing the degree program to meet individual goals and interests.Studio art majors develop their intellect, perception, and creativity while engaged in the visual arts within the context of a university wide undergraduate liberal arts curriculum. Studio art programs provide education and training for those wishing to become professional visual artists and designers, or to work in arts-related fields. While the objectives of study are not primarily vocational, students will acquire knowledge and skills that may lead to employment in arts-related fields such as teaching, design, communication arts, art therapy, gallery work, or museum administration. After completing a series of foundation courses, students are able to focus their coursework in one of seven media areas: ceramics, digital media (graphic design/digital arts/animation), drawing, painting, photography, printmaking, or sculpture.

Students graduating from US high schools must meet high school GPA, performance in core subjects, academic honours, and standardized test scores. Students graduating from Schools Outside the US: GPA will be calculated on all coursework, not just core subjects. UA considers applicants with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale for admission. International applicants must submit an official qualifying English Proficiency score for one of the following: TOEFL iBT score of 79 and above; TOEFL paper-based score of 550 and above; TOEFL Essentials score of 8.5 and above; IELTS score of 6.0 or above; Pearsons Test of English score of 54 or above; Duolingo English Test score: 51 or above (test dates before July 15, 2019); 110 or above (test dates after July 15, 2019). Application Priority Deadlines: Fall Semester: January 15; Spring Semester: November 1; Summer Semester: January 15.
