Embark on a journey to master both academic and clinical realms in the field of psychology with our Master in Clinical Psychology programme. This course is meticulously designed for those keen on making a significant impact in community mental health through rigorous training in clinical interviews, assessments, and interventions, alongside behavioural science research. Students of this programme can expect to be trained in behavioural science-based research and develop the necessary skills and expertise to be directly involved in community mental health. Clinical psychology delves into understanding behaviour, personality, and the complexities of human psychopathology and adaptive responses. Graduates are equipped with skills to conduct clinical interviews, assessment, and clinical theoretical intervention. Bachelor's degree in Psychology - A Bachelors degree in Psychology with a minimum CGPA of 2.75 or its equivalent as accepted by the University. Bachelor's degree in Psychology - A Bachelors degree in Psychology with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and not meeting a CGPA of 2.75, can be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment. Bachelor's Degree (non-psychology) or equivalent - Candidates with a Bachelors degree (non-psychology) with a minimum CGPA of 2.75 with a minimum of 45 credits of prerequisite modules in Psychology or a graduate diploma in Psychology or its equivalent as accepted by the University. Bachelor's Degree (non-psychology) or equivalent - Candidates with a Bachelors degree (non-psychology) with a minimum CGPA of 2.75 and a Masters degree in Psychology with a minimum of 45 credits of prerequisites modules in Psychology or a graduate diploma in Psychology or its equivalent as accepted by the University. Other Equivalent Qualifications. Any other relevant qualification recognised by the Malaysian Government, acceptable to the University.
