The School of the Built Environment has strong relationships with industry, professional institutions and governments around the world (and especially UK and Malaysia). This allows us to develop and transfer knowledge beyond the boundaries of the academic environment to provide you with the unique opportunity to conduct research in this part of the world. The University is also ranked 6th in the UK for research power in Architecture, Built Environment and Planning (Times Higher Education, Institutions Ranked by Subject, based on its analysis of the latest REF 2021). The School draws together expertise across a range of disciplines including organisation and management, design, sustainability, procurement and economics.

Untuk mahasiswa internasional

The minimum requirement for entry to UoRM's PhD programme is a Master's degree or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Malaysian Government, or other qualification that the University accepts. Applicants must also possess a minimum upper second-class Bachelor's degree or international equivalent, or in exceptional circumstances, such as where a student has accrued significant relevant experience, a good 2.2 (lower second-class honours) degree may be considered. In some exceptional cases, we will also consider applicants who hold a first-class honours degree (or international equivalent) at the Bachelor's level without a Master's degree.
