Applicants are required to meet one of several entry routes for admission. For Scottish Highers, the standard entry requirement is BBBBB (135 UCAS Tariff points) along with SQA National 5 (Grade B), Intermediate 2 (Grade B), or Standard Grade (Credit) in Maths. The minimum entry requirement is CCC (63 points) plus National 5 Maths at Grade B, while the alternative minimum is CC (42 points) alongside successful completion of one of the following: UWS Foundation Academy, Foundation Apprenticeship, UWS Next Steps to University module, Routes for All, Top-Up, or LEAPS. A Level applicants must have AAB (136 points), and Irish Leaving Certificate applicants are expected to hold grades H1, H1, H2, H2 plus Maths at Ordinary Level. International Baccalaureate Diploma holders must achieve 28 points. Applicants with a Scottish Wider Access Programme (SWAP) qualification must have completed Access to Humanities with grades BBB. Those applying with a BTEC Extended Diploma must have achieved MMM.
