Get a head start on a professional acting career through practical, production-based classes and performing in our Grade II-listed, purpose-built theatre as part of our Acting degree.From day one, you’ll work on performance projects, building your acting skills. You’ll have the chance to learn from industry professionals through workshops, masterclasses, guest shows and appearances, and visiting lecturers. Some have gone into broadcasting working for Channel 4, the BBC and Sky. Our alumni include playwright James Graham OBE, theatre director Marianne Elliot, musical director Martin Lowe, and the artistic director of London’s New Diorama Theatre, David Byrne. Hull graduates often come to careers events, sharing their experience.
