You won't just learn how to design buildings you'll explore how to create spaces that work for people and the planet.Moving beyond traditional approaches, our curriculum leverages BU’s strengths in digital fabrication and technical innovation, preparing you for a tech-driven industry.Sustainability is at the core of BU’s Architecture course. You will explore low-carbon solutions, sustainable materials, and learn to make climate-aligned design decisions from day one.Access our state-of-the-art Innovation Centre, featuring advanced workshops, prototyping labs, and VR/AR environments for immersive spatial visualisation and testing.Our approach ensures that the buildings of tomorrow support the wellbeing and inclusivity of the people who use them, contextualising architecture culturally, socially, and environmentally.Benefit from guest lectures and specialist workshops led by practitioners with expertise in both traditional construction and future-focused materials.Located in a region with a strong network of architectural practices, BU provides a unique backdrop for networking, professional mentoring, and "real-world" project experience.3 years full time with a placement option after the 2nd year.
