All programmes at Ulster require candidates to have competence in written and spoken English and GCSE English Language (grades A-C/4-9) or an equivalent qualification such as Essential Skills or Functional Skills in Communication / English at Level 2.
IB - a minimum of 24 points (12 points at higher level) to include Higher or Subsidiary level in English Language (grade 4 or above) and if Maths is a course requirement you need Higher or Subsidiary level in mathematics (grade 4 or above)
