A collaborative studio culture supports you in achieving your goals through practical and theoretical design and marketing projects with immersive industry experiences, giving you a competitive advantage in the job market. **Extended Degree** This extended degree provides an alternative route to higher education and supports those who don’t meet the standard entry requirements for an undergraduate degree. It includes a foundation year which year helps develop your skills, build confidence, and foster your creativity. The extended degree gives you the chance to explore a range of design disciplines linked to the creative design sector.**What will I learn in my Foundation Year?**You will develop your knowledge of a broad range of creative design disciplines and equip you with the subject knowledge and essential skills that will be required for your entry into this degree. You will have an opportunity to learn contemporary portfolio skills, work on short projects rotating through the 4 different design specialisms of communication design, product design, fashion design and interior design to explore these subject’s areas in more detail.The foundation year of the course delivered at level 3 which develops your ability to study in Higher Education is not accredited. Subsequent levels and years are accredited and deliver the knowledge, competencies, and skills required to meet the specific course accreditation requirements that relate to the approved accredited award title.
