**About the course**BA History is modern, inclusive and relevant, with a contemporary focus that helps you navigate pressing cultural, environmental, social and political challenges. You will discover how people, ideas and events have shaped societies across time, investigating themes such as power, identity, conflict, belief and social change.Focusing on the period since 1800, you will examine the cultural, political and environmental forces that continue to influence societies across the globe. You will explore how History is recorded, interpreted and represented, engage directly with external practitioners in heritage, museums, archives and media, and learn beyond the classroom through site visits and walking tours that make full use of London’s historical resources.
