Electrical and electronic engineering is the study and application of electronics, telecommunications and electrical power. Our MSc course offers students the chance to deepen both their theoretical understanding and practical expertise across key areas used in industries such as renewable energy, automotive, telecommunications and construction. Core modules provide advanced knowledge in power electronics and devices, while a strong emphasis on project work ensures hands-on experience. A dedicated module in research methods and professional skills equips students with a broad research skills set. Throughout the course, students develop and apply their skills through individual and group projects, report writing and technical presentations, strengthening the project management and numerical skills sought by employers.
