The BA (Hons) Music & Sound for Film & Game course is for composers, producers, and sound creatives who want to work in screen media, interactive storytelling, and immersive entertainment. You’ll develop the creative, technical, and collaborative skills needed to produce original music and sound for film, TV, games, and beyond.You’ll explore key areas of practice, including scoring, sound design, location recording, Foley, and middleware integration. From cinematic orchestration to experimental textures, the course supports a wide range of creative approaches. You’ll work on briefs that mirror industry workflows, gaining experience in composing to picture, crafting sound for narrative impact, and developing ideas that enhance story, character, and emotion.Optional modules in Years 2 and 3 allow you to specialise or diversify across areas such as post-production, immersive audio, commercial music, and interactive performance technologies.
