Applicants should:
be HCPC registered (or equivalent) Practitioner Clinical or Counselling Psychologist (you will need to provide a HCPC registration number and doctoral level training equivalent education with postgraduate teaching, practicum and thesis)
be a member, or have eligibility for full membership, with British Psychological Society (BPS) division (i.e., DCP or DCoP) or equivalent
be employed (part-time or full-time) in a service that provides assessment and/or intervention for individuals with neurological conditions, brain injuries, or conditions with neuropsychological presentation in which clinical neuropsychology represents a component of the service
have access (and likelihood of permission and client consent) to cases that can be written up for assessment of your clinical competence, for educational purposes, toward completion of the PGDip award
have a minimum of one-year post-qualification / HCPC-registered experience in the/a clinical neuropsychology service
demonstrate how to work effectively in teams, taking a compassionate and client-centred approach, and have capacity for reflective practice – you will have the opportunity to showcase these skills in the interview with our course directors.
