If you undertake your PhD with us, you’ll join an active community of around 100 PhD students across the School of Mathematical, Physical and Computational Sciences. You’ll also become part of a large, diverse community of doctoral students across the University.

Training is an important part of your development as a researcher. In the first two years of your course, you’ll follow a programme of relevant postgraduate lectures agreed between you and your supervisor.
