We develop and deliver opportunities through globally significant interdisciplinary research and innovation excellence in clinical sciences and translational medicine to improve health across the life course.Focus of our researchResearch in this theme is interdisciplinary and aims to develop, evaluate and implement novel physiological, pharmacological, behavioural, and technological interventions to enhance prevention, diagnosis and management of diseases. Our interventions aim to be globally significant, culturally acceptable, scalable, cost-effective, and sustainable to improve health across the life course.Our interests include cardiovascular disease and heart failure, circadian rhythms, sleep, skeletal muscle mechanics and ageing, physical activity, human physiological function and performance, physiological responses to extreme environmental conditions and lifestyle interventions.

Untuk mahasiswa internasional

A minimum of a 2:1 first degree in a relevant discipline/subject area with a minimum 60 percentage mark in the project element or equivalent with a minimum 60 percentage overall module average. In the event of a first degree classification of less than 2:1, a Masters Degree in a relevant subject area will be considered as an equivalent. The Masters must have been attained with minimum overall marks at merit level (60 percentage) (Or higher where stipulated against a specific opportunity). In addition, the dissertation or equivalent element in the Masters must also have been attained with a minimum mark of merit level (60 percentage).
