Analytical Method Development (Certificate)

The Certificate in Analytical Methods Development program provides the knowledge of techniques and devices for sampling in diverse media. Isolation, concentration, and fractionation of analytes and classes of analytes, as well as methods in complex matrices with an emphasis on methods development and validation, are discussed. Coursework from the certificate program may be applied toward a Master of Science in Analytical Chemistry degree, provided a grade of ''B'' or higher was earned in that particular course. Admission to a master’s program is not guaranteed upon completion of the certificate program.
