If you're in the Honors Program, you can explore the relationship between history and literature in this unique interdisciplinary major. Your journey begins with two methodology courses: Literary Criticism Seminar and Gateway to the Past: The Historian's Craft. You'll then take classes in both history and English, choosing one as a major and the other as a minor. You can even double major in both. Your work will culminate in a thesis project that lets you delve into a topic of personal or professional interest in these rich fields of study. You'll have expert help from advisors in both departments all along the way.
