At SHU, you’ll get the hands-on training and classroom experience you need to evaluate, protect and care for a variety of physically active individuals. You'll develop your skills as an essential healthcare provider as you learn how to assess, prevent, treat and rehabilitate emergent and non-emergent injuries and medical conditions. Through the Master’s in Athletic Training program, you will also- Experience real-world training through exciting and diverse clinical education experiences in a variety of settings, such as collegiate athletics, competitive public and private secondary schools, professional sports, rehabilitation clinics, physicians’ offices, public safety and more. Collaborate with physicians to provide preventative services, emergency care, clinical diagnosis, therapeutic intervention, and rehabilitation. Study in a progressive curriculum that puts athletic training concepts into action.
